About the Teacher

Miss Mila Molchanov first Graduated St. Petersburg Conservatory by N. Rimsky-Korsakov (Russia) as the Concert Pianist. This very Conservatory is fascinating and history-rich also Architecturally gorgeous site that introduced to the World musical Titans such as Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov and Stravinsky – just to name a few.
Besides Piano Performance Degree, Mila also holds a Bachelor of Education in correlation with the Piano and Theory/History Related subjects of all levels, which she evaluated at the Toronto University in 1990 in Canada. Mila has been teaching for the past 45 years. She is a certified Royal Conservatory (RCM) Teacher, as well as being teaching the LCM, ARBSM and Conservatory Canada programs.

Her teaching philosophy asserts that with the right encouragement and joyful educational tools, with the help of experienced enthusiastic and caring teacher, every person can learn to play the piano and learn music theory in every subject.

Many of Mila’s students go on to successfully pass their Piano and Theory Conservatory examinations. During the past years the number of Mila’s students have received awards and prizes in Piano Festivals and Competitions, including local and national Composers Competitions. Several – graduated from Juilliard and Jazz prestigious music schools.
Some of her students have become music teachers themselves. Most are following their passion for piano learning carrying the love for it daily, a precious gift of once lifetime. It has been an amazing journey, blessed with opportunity to do what she loves.
